By using the App, you agree to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. Personal Data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and applicable data protection laws. journeynow OÜ acts as the data controller for Personal Data processed through the App.

1. Acceptance of This Privacy Policy

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

If you provide Personal Data relating to third parties (for example, shared routines or notes), you confirm that you have informed them of this Privacy Policy and obtained any required consent.

The App is intended for users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from individuals under 18. If we become aware that such data has been collected, we will delete it promptly.

We use PostHog , a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand how users interact with the App and improve functionality. PostHog collects anonymized usage data, including:

- App interaction events (e.g., features accessed, sessions started)
- Session duration and frequency
- Device type and operating system version
- App version

PostHog does not track you across other apps or websites. Data is anonymized and used solely to improve the App experience.

We may infer approximate location (such as country or region) based on IP address solely for security and compliance purposes. We do not collect precise GPS locations.

You cannot opt out of essential analytics that ensure the App functions correctly, but we minimize data collection to only what is necessary for improvement and stability.

The App does not use cookies or tracking pixels. Analytics are collected via PostHog using anonymized identifiers that cannot be used to track you across apps or websites.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use Personal Data only for the following purposes:

Some verified content may include brief excerpts from third-party sources used under applicable fair use principles for purposes such as commentary, education, or discovery.

These excerpts are intentionally limited and are provided to help users find relevant material. Users are encouraged to visit the original sources and purchase or access the full content directly from the respective publishers or creators.

We strive to link to verified external sources whenever possible so users can review original material in full.

7.2 AI Content Disclaimer

Content generated by artificial intelligence may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. Journey Now does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.

Users should independently verify important information and should not rely solely on AI-generated output for decisions involving health, legal, financial, or other critical matters.

Journey Now is not responsible for actions taken based on AI-generated content.

AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional advice.

8. Data Retention

We retain Personal Data only as long as necessary:

  • Active accounts: Retained while the account is active

  • Inactive accounts: Deleted after up to 2 years of inactivity

  • Legal obligations: Retained as required by law

  • Support communications: Retained up to 3 years

Data is securely deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.

9. Your Data Protection Rights

Under GDPR and applicable laws, you have the right to:

- All User Content (habits, notes, routines) will be permanently deleted
- Personal Data will be removed from our systems (except data we're required to retain by law)
- You will receive confirmation via email once deletion is complete
- This action cannot be undone

10. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards, including:

  • Encryption in transit and at rest

  • Restricted access controls

  • Secure hosting infrastructure

While no system is completely secure, we continuously work to protect your information.

10.1 Data Breach Notification

In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your Personal Data, we will:
